Those work all the time, software running or not. Be aware all of these require active software to fetch the sensor data. Gpu temp or motherboard temp are reasonable choices. Last change the fans above to the new custom 1 preset. These match up to the AIO quiet/balance/extreme presets. Click one of the the three shape tools in the corner. In the C-Pro cooling tab, click + to create a new custom curve. However, you can link these back to the cooler.
